Small Ornaments Checklist-BY DATE

This page lists smaller pieces published as part of a Christmas Heirlooms club ornament set, or under the Needle Adventures or Loretta Spears Design names, organized by publication date.  Some of the Christmas club ornaments were also published in magazines and in Needle Adventure/Artists Collection leaflets.  If there is an article and a photograph of the piece on the Loretta Blog, there is a link after the listing.  Items in red have no photograph or article yet.  Date gaps show publications I don't know about yet.  Items that I don't have any dates for are listed at the bottom.

This is a work in progress.  If you can help with more information, publication dates and/or photos, email me at LorettaSpearsDesigns@gmail.com.  Thanks for your help!

The publication dates for these small ornament designs are unknown--

NO DATE - Cherise Diamond — square on point grey canvas, Watercolors cerise, green beads variegated red

NO DATE -  Color Blending — no description or date available

NO DATE - My Pocket — actually pocket canvas only two shades of Marlitt and Kreinik pinks whites

NO DATE - Pomegranate Stocking — 17 count linen canvas, white floss, red silk and gold Madeira - Bargello pomegranate pattern with star (I think this is the same as the Needlepoint Plus Wish Upon a Star stocking published in 1993.) Apparently this was taught at Loretta's Fiesta Needle Arts shop as a class in 1991, two years before the Wish Upon a Star chart was published in the magazine. I have heard there is a published chart also but one hasn't turned up yet.

NO DATE - Shell Pattern Roll - roll up tube  (identical to free design on Rainbow Gallery website? - see link in right hand column)
